The whisky barrels are made from American white oak in the USA, where they were used once. They were then exported to Scotland where they were used several times. The barrels/staves can therefore be more than 60 years old. Inside they get burnt to give the whisky the right taste and flavor. The individual staves demonstrate the oaks natural quality and are partially coated in whisky, therefore are almost indestructible wherever you use them inside or outside on the porch or balcony.
Unique Danish handmade applied art made in Scotland from original old whisky barrels.
The products are made in a little workshop in the countryside town of Moffat in Scotland and fulfill the principals of recycling and upcycling.
None of the staves are the same and therefore they all have their own unique pattern and appearance.
The natural and raw design fits perfectly in the young and the modern home as well.
