Designer Racks & Hangers from Scandinavian interior artists
If you think that a wall rack or a coat hanger is a boring, unimpressive piece of home furniture that other than fulfilling its purpose does not produce any aesthetic value, then you’re not far from the truth, with a slight exception to this general perception rule. Namely, designer hangers and racks can be fun and eye pleasing elements too. That is exactly what a community of Danish, Finnish and Swedish interior design artists aim at achieving - embedding timeless and landscape design into what is perceived to be a dull item of wood or plastic, and creating instead a piece of home design rather than an ordinary clip hanger or a simple rack.
Wooden clothes hangers from Danish designers
Being one of the most common objects in everyone’s house, it’s difficult to imagine one getting along without a hanger or a clothing rack for that matter. The impressive thing about a designer hanger crafted in Scandinavian countries, is that it can be used as a complementary item, namely as a designer clothing hanger - integrating itself perfectly into the fashion clothes ensemble or it can be regarded as a standalone designer article meant to be be used as a modern decorative object. At ENIITO we strive to convey the message of functionality through design, showing a distinct consideration towards nature and things that surround us, the usual hangers we make reference to are not exempt from this philosophy. That’s why we present a large collection of wooden hangers, among which oil treated oak and smoked oak or soaped oak being one of the many materials our designers prefer to work with.
Designer coat racks made of wood
From wooden and metal hook hangers to rack stands that are both practical and likeable. Most of the racks that we currently have on sale bear minimalistic yet innovative designs, intended to offer creativity a different ‘touch’ by breathing new life into usual dull and ordinary home decor objects. Even though it might look as if we fall behind in quantity terms, we strive to offer instead a high quality product that combines a variety of shapes and forms, defying imagination at times. Who could have thought that the functioning principle behind a hanger can be extrapolated to such an extent that, what used to be considered as a simple and mediocre element of garderobe can be regarded now as a product of interior design, thanks to the young designers’ zeal for innovation.
